March 14 through 20, 2010 will be Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.

The National Weather Service has activities planned for each day during the week, including a test of amateur radio communications systems. In conjunction with the Indiana State Police, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, the Indiana Department of Education, the Indiana Broadcasters Association, the American Red Cross, and Amateur Radio Operators will conduct a statewide test of communication systems on Wednesday, March 17, between 10:15 AM and 10:30 AM EDT and between 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM EDT.
